All candidates are encouraged to apply, especially those with established client relationships and the ability to attract new clients.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Manage existing client portfolios on a discretionary basis within firm guidelines and ensure ongoing implementation of client policies and objectives and maintain regular and direct communication, building strong relationships.Providing portfolio management with respect to portfolio construction, overall asset mix, and asset allocation, both within portfolios and amongst a familys assets;Working with and attracting high net worth individuals and families, as well as small private and public foundations;Developing meaningful relationships with clients financial, legal, accounting and insurance advisors, either individually, or working closely with the team;Assisting in key client events, branding and strategic initiatives across the business; andLeading business initiatives and/or supporting the President in these efforts.QUALIFICATIONS:University degree preferred major in business, finance or economicsChartered Financial Analyst designationRegistered in good standing as a Registered Advising Representative with the Ontario Securities Commission8 + years performing research involving the financial analysis of investments5 + years experience servicing investment/private clients strongly preferredExcellent understanding of financial markets and the ability to communicate the same with clients of varying levels of financial sophisticationAffinity to cultivating client and business development relationshipsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong time management and interpersonal skillsCOMPENSATION:Commensurate with experience
