Accountivity is hiring!Job Title: Accounts Payable Analyst Location: St. Catherines Job Type: TemporarySalary: $21.00-$24.00/hourOur client in St.Catherines, ON is actively looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join their team.Position Description:Process and set up profile for approved new vendorsPrint/download, review and process AP documents such as invoices, credit card expenses, and employee expenses and to ensure proper GL codes, approvals and supports are provided.Match all receiving slips to invoicesReview, investigate and resolve PO, receiving and RTV variancesPerform reviews and uploads as requiredAs required upload and review documentation.Perform cheque, online, EFT bill payments according to AP processMaintain AP document filing weeklyReconcile assigned vendor statements as per pre-determined scheduleFollow up and respond to all queries in accordance to corporate guidelines in a professional and timely mannerFollow up and resolve outstanding issues with vendors, internal customers and storesProvide guidance and instructions to other departments to ensure vendors are paid accurately and timely.Support leaders, as needed, on monthly accounting reconciliationsReview and resolved outstanding issues on monthly reports, i.e. prepaid, aging, duplicate, future-dated etc.Maintain all AP procedural documentsSkills & Qualifications:Strong knowledge and understanding of inventory, PO and receiving processesAbility to multi-task and manage tight timelines in a dynamic and high-volume environmentStrong analytical skillsStrong attention to detailsAbility to manage competing priorities accordinglyWork experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Good communication and interpersonal skillsAccounting knowledge an asset3 or more years of Accounts Payable experience in a fast paced, high volume environmentPost secondary education with a focus on accounting, or equivalent work experience in the Accounts Payable and/or accounting field is an assetIf you meet the above qualifications, please submit your resume.
