The Municipality of Lorne is seeking a motivated, energetic individual to fill the newly created position of Finance Officer. This position reports directly to the CAO.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities of the position include:-Creation of the annual financial plan-Development of an asset management plan-Ensuring sound financial controls are in place and followed-Advising on financial matters-Preparation of financial reportsQualificationsIdeally, you will have experience in financial work. Strong accounting, communication, and analytical skills are just some of the requirements of the position.
