Physical TherapistLOCATION:Vernon, BCJOB TYPE:Various positions availableHOURS: Monday Friday, 7.5 hours per day (8:30am-4:30pm) WAGE:$42.56 - $52.82 Grade II Health Science Professionals Bargaining Association (HSPBA) NONA Child Development is looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team!The Physical Therapist is a part of an interdisciplinary team with young children with disabilities, their families and caregivers, to identify and develop activities and routines to enhance the childs development and functional skills.What Youll Do:Assess strengths and needs of children referred to program through formal and/or informal evaluationInterpret results to parents and other team members so that they can understandDevelop and implement an individualized program plan for each child in conjunction with parents and other professionalsConsult with other team members and community partners regarding the child and their programRe-evaluate the childs progress at regular intervals and update the childs program as necessaryWork as part of an interdisciplinary team in treatment approachOther related duties as assigned by the Therapy Program SupervisorWhat Were Looking For:Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized universityEligible for membership in the British Columbia Association of Physical TherapistsPediatric experience preferred, even as part of university placementsValid drivers license and own transportationWhy Join us?We offer a supportive, diverse, inclusive and equitable work environment that is culturally responsible.
