The ability to develop/enhance skills in many facets of the Finance function will be available given the culture and the close-knit nature of the team.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompletion of full-cycle accounting leading to the month-end closeAnalysis and reconciliation of B/S, I/S, Cash Flow statementsParticipation in the preparation of monthly & annual consolidated reporting including making recommendations using high-level quantitative skills/toolsDevelopment, monitoring and interpretation of key operating metrics and trendsParticipation in the corporate planning process including updating forecasts and maintaining projection modelsParticipation in developing and operationalizing new management reporting as well as profitability reporting and dashboardsEngagement in the y/e audit process and preparation of reports for outside parties.Participation in the system deployment of MS Business Central/Dynamics and other automation initiatives.QualificationsUniversity degree in Business/Accounting with a CPA completed or in progressCurrent or prior experience in a public accounting firm is an asset.4+ years of experience and knowledge of corporate accounting and financial management.Advanced written communication and intermediate/advanced computer skills: Excel Pivots/Lookups, Macros or SQL/VBA, MS Business Central/Dynamics, Power BIStrong technical, analytical, and critical thinking skillsEmployment TypeFull time with regular working hours (currently remote and in-person hybrid working environment).About StriveStrive was founded in 2020 and has since grown to a team of 85+ industry leaders with many years of experience.
