Premier Marine Canada is a leading seafood Importer/producer dedicated to supplying top-quality seafood to major retailers across Canada. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to join our team in Vaughan and drive our sales strategy to new heights. Position Overview: As the Director of Sales at Premier Marine Canada, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our sales strategy, fostering relationships with major Canadian retailers, and managing trade spend to maximize profitability. This is a leadership position that requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in direct sales, particularly within the retail sector. We are an in-office company with hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our market share in the Canadian retail sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with major retailers, ensuring Premier Marine Canada is their preferred seafood supplier. Oversee trade spend management, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize returns and support sales growth. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and drive strategic initiatives. Collaborate with other departments, including Product Development, QA, Marketing and Operations, to align sales efforts with overall company goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Qualifications: Proven experience in a senior sales role, with a strong track record in direct sales to Canadian retailers. Demonstrated expertise in trade spend management and strategic sales planning. Knowledge of the seafood industry is highly advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Bachelor''s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus. Why Join Us?
