Civil Assessor Location: Pickering, Ontario On-Site: Monday - Friday Industry: Nuclear / Energy Job Type: Contract Hourly Rate : $60 - 75/hour Job Description: We are currently seeking a Civil Assessor with strong scaffolding knowledge to support our team on a specialized maintenance assignment. This is a critical and potentially challenging role, ideal for professionals with a background in civil maintenance within high-regulation environments such as Bruce Power (BP) or Ontario Power Generation (OPG) . Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed civil assessments with a focus on scaffolding requirements and structural safety. Review and evaluate existing scaffolding systems and civil maintenance practices. Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and site-specific procedures. Collaborate with site engineers, maintenance personnel, and safety teams. Provide technical guidance and recommendations for improvements. Qualifications: Proven experience in civil maintenance and assessment within the nuclear or power generation industry. Hands-on scaffolding experience is mandatory. Familiarity with OPG or BP standards, protocols, and safety procedures.
