AWS Solution Consultant / Architect Contract Term: 6 months, renewable Work Location: downtown Toronto, ON. Hybrid, onsite 2-3 day a week, the other days remote Our client, a global leading IT company, is looking for an AWS Solution Consultant / Architect. Skills: proficiency in AWS cloud computing platform. Deep understanding and hands-on experience with various AWS services such as: Compute: EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS Storage : S3, EBS, EFS Database : RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora Networking : VPC, Route 53, CloudFront Security :  IAM, Security Groups, KMS Monitoring: CloudWatch, CloudTrail Programming Languages - Proficiency in languages commonly used in cloud development: Python Node.js/Typescript JavaScript Java Spring Boot Flask Containerization and Orchestration Experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for container orchestration. Understanding how to deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications on AWS using services like Amazon ECS or Amazon EKS DevOps Practices Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CDK and CloudFormation Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or AWS CodePipeline Automation Tools Proficiency in automation tools and scripting and Query languages like Bash, PowerShell, and SQL AWS CLI for automating repetitive tasks, infrastructure provisioning, and infrastructure. Networking and Security Knowledge of networking concepts including VPC, Subnets, routing. Understanding of security best practices for securing cloud infrastructure,  data encryption, and compliance standards Scalability and Performance Optimization Experience in performance tuning and optimization of applications running on AWS. Troubleshooting and Debugging Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues. Ability to debug code and identify performance bottlenecks in cloud-based applications and services. Monitoring and Logging Proficiency in setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail and third-party monitoring tools. Contact Information: Lam Guan
