Dynamic Tire Inc. Distribution Coordinator Position Reporting to Canadian Logistics Warehouse Manager Summary/ObjectiveReporting to the Canadian Logistics Warehouse Manager the DC Coordinator provides customer support to our distribution center as well as internal customers. This role ensures customer shipments are shipped accurately and in a timely manner as well as provide administrative support for Logistics & Warehouse Department. This role is responsible for scheduling and dispatch vehicles for conveyance of freight.Essential FunctionsDispatch drivers and CarriersTrack and trace Carrier shipments and local deliveriesCreate BOLs, Carrier Manifests and drivers run sheetsAssist with pick upsData EntryRun Credit CardsAnswer phones and trouble shootWork closely with 3PL Work with Supervisors and warehouse staff to ensure freight moves in a timely mannerDaily calling and emailing to carriers for scheduled pick upsProvide order for warehouse staff to pickResponsible for customer pickups and invoicing customer ordersRouting delivery driversCreating Manifests GTA and Common CarrierHandles customer and driver calls and inquiries in a timely, professional manner.Tracking and tracing of shipments/DeliveriesProcessing Return orders/Purchase OrdersWorking closely with customer service, and 3rd Party Warehouse shipping and billingPlan, Coordinate and Monitor inbound shipments within North America and determine the most cost-efficient routes.Skills and QualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize tasks as per importance. Positive attitude, team player, customer service focused. General Education, high school diploma. Minimum of two (2) years of previous experience as a dispatcher, logistics coordinator or transportation customer service role. Knowledge of GTA surrounding areas.
