Job Title: Area ManagerLocation: Fort St. John, BCSalary: $140,000 $150,000 + 30% Performance BonusVacation: 34 WeeksBenefits: RRSP Matching + Comprehensive Health PackageAbout the Opportunity:Were working with a leading electrical industrial services company that is looking to hire a local Area Manager for their Fort St. John, BC operations. This is a pivotal leadership position for someone with a Journeyman Electrical or Instrumentation background and strong experience managing teams in the industrial or oil & gas sector.Youll oversee branch operations, drive business development, and ensure safety, financial performance, and client satisfaction. If you're part of the Fort St. John or Dawson Creek community and looking for a long-term leadership opportunity, this could be a great fit.What Youll Be Doing:Lead a team of 10 tradespeople, 1 electrical manager, and 1 administratorDrive safety culture (BBOs, TRIF, LTI) and ensure compliance with health & safety standardsManage financial performance and achieve EBITDA targetsOversee hiring, performance, and structure of the team with full autonomyEngage directly with industrial clients (oil & gas and forestry)Lead business development efforts and expand market share in the regionCollaborate with regional operations and support teams (HR, Finance, Purchasing)Key Qualifications:Journeyman Electrician or Instrumentation Technician (mandatory)5+ years in a senior supervisory or management roleEstimating experience in residential and commercial projectsStrong leadership and operations experienceKnowledge of business processes and team managementExperience using Microsoft Office, ERP systems, Salesforce, and safety softwarePreference given to local candidates or those open to relocating to Fort St. John (relocation support available: moving expenses + 4 months rental/lease)Whats On Offer:Competitive base salary ($140K$150K)30% performance-based incentive bonus34 weeks vacationFull benefits & RRSP programStrong autonomy in decision-makingOpportunity to lead a growing branch in a high-demand region
