Bond Bakery Brands Limited is looking to add a Financial Analyst to our accounting team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Financial Analyst will gain valuable experience in the different areas of finance at a high-growth, mission-driven organization. Our ideal candidate will act as a partner to support the finance team at head office and subsidiary companies. This is an outstanding opportunity for a self-starter accounting professional who enjoys problem solving, is intellectually curious and possesses strong attention to detail capabilities.Responsibilities:Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures at head office and subsidiary companies in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, taxation, and treasury Assist with preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual and financial statements, maintaining detailed supporting working papers, prepared in compliance with accounting standardsPreparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsAssist with the preparation of supporting documents for annual audit and compliance of internal controlsAssist in the development of the annual budget, quarterly, and monthly forecasts and monitor results versus budget and forecast for the consolidated businessAssist in the preparation of reporting and presentation packages for business leaders and external stakeholdersPartner with key stakeholders to solve problems and communicate risksAd-hoc financial reporting, analysis, and projects, as required The successful candidate will have:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration1+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or public accounting or full cycle preferredWorking towards CPA or CFA designation preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with strong working knowledge of ExcelExperience with food production, supply chain, manufacturing, and retail, a plusA strong problem solver with an analytical mind and attention to detailPossess excellent communication and relationship management skillsA passion for constant improvement - always looking to do things betterSelf-starter, highly effective working independently and within a teamAbility to roll up your sleeves to build and maintain functional areas of financeAbout Bond Bakery Brands LimitedBond Bakery Brands Limited is an investment platform for leading commercial bakeries.
