We are is looking for an experienced software QA Tester to work directly with a global client's QA team based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Activities will focus on end-to-end functional and payment instruments testing.Basic terms:Title: QA TesterExperience: Mid-levelType: Independent ContractorStart Date: ASAPPay rate range: $35 to $40 USD per hourDuration: June 9, 2025 through June 8, 2026; potential 12 month renewalCapacity: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 1 PM local timeLocation: Toronto-based remoteLanguage: Bilingual French Canadian / EnglishResponsibilities:Participate in test planning and test strategy discussions to ensure comprehensive test coverage.Assist in the creation and maintenance of test cases, test data, and test environments.Execute test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software products and applicationsIdentify and document defects, issues, and risks during the testing process.Collaborate with the QA team to prioritize and troubleshoot identified issues, ensuring timely resolution.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate testing.QualificationsNative fluency in French Canadian with English professional fluencyBachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field3 to 5 years of QA testing experience on web and mobile appsHighly effective communication
