We are grateful to be an extension of some of the best e-commerce brands.UI/UX Designer at Praella is a hybrid of several roles for a go-getter ready to impact a fast-growing digital agency. We are seeking a talented Ecommerce UI/UX Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences for ecommerce websites. You will work closely with our creative, development and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements and optimal user experience. The sole purpose of the goal is to produce, execute, and ensure a high-quality product delivered on time and within budget.The role is intended for someone who wants to walk into an environment where they can make an immediate impact, not just from production but from the process, data, creatives, internal opportunities, merchants, etc.With this in mind, it is imperative for the candidate to have e-commerce experience - from data and analytics to creatives, to a general understanding of web design and development, a general understanding of app design and development, email marketing, and conversion rate optimization. This is not a technical role, but it is a very versatile designer role.We are a merchant-first, results-driven team. We have the nothing is impossible mentality. We have a small team in Chicago. Outside of Chicago, we have teams located across the United States, Canada, Europe, and India.Do you want to work from Europe or India for a month and travel to nearby destinations on long weekends? Is that you?What would you be doing?Design and develop user interfaces for e-commerce websites that enhance user experience and drive conversion rates.Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas using Figma.Collaborate with developers to implement attractive designs that align with technical requirements and best practices.Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve user engagement.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design for ecommerce.Plan, conceptualize, wireframe, and design high-quality ecommerce user experience across all viewports (desktop, tablet, and mobile).Execute creative deliverables for eCommerce projects from start to finish while incorporating the client's vision/input into the design.Clearly establish and communicate design targets and establish measurable goalsDesign solutions that resonate with target audiences or increase conversion.Work closely with Front-end Developers and the rest of the team to maximize the impact that design has on Client's business.Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage design to acquire, retain and convert users.Work on internal campaigns and initiatives in collaboration with the team.Communicate and explain your vision to clients and team members.What will make you an ideal candidate for this job?Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing ecommerce website design projects.5+ years of UI/UX design experienceProficiency in design tools such as Figma, and/or Adobe Creative Suite.Experience with Shopify and understanding of ecommerce UX patterns.Strong experience in user interface/user experienceStrong experience in digital visual designSolid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Great understanding of typography and fundamental design principlesAbility to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions to clients and team membersAbility to make data-driven design decisions based on available datahave the ability to share and execute innovative ideas, technologies, and strategiesGreat communication (both verbally and in writing)Be an enthusiastic problem solver, a thinker, and an analyzerBe a go-getter who takes initiativeThrive in a fast-paced, self-managed, high-responsibility environmentKeep up with the latest UI/UX trendsKnowledge of HTML/CSS; familiarity with frontend development frameworks is a plus.Additional Benefits:Health insurance 100% covered/paid by Praella for employeeHealth insurance 90% covered/paid by Praella for employee dependentsFlexible work scheduleUp to 20 days of vacation per yearYour birthday is a day offTechnology budgetsWork-from-home internet stipend3 months paid maternity leave after 3 years with the company1 month paid paternity leave after 3 years with the companyWork from our international officesUpsell commission payIncentives/bonuses/profit sharing based on team performanceAn amazing group of humans to work with - team and merchantsLike to be around people?
