Project descriptionThis Execution BA Team works on a global strategic technology platform - Global Corporate Action Event Repository. Major Tasks Involve - Processing Vendor Data Feeds & Internal Upstream Client Data, Mapping Data, Analyzing and Researching Data, Working on Swift Messages, User Interface, Data Publishing to downstream client (via Cloud, custom publisher) as XML/ Reports, Rules & governance, Audit, Compliance. Coverage, Accuracy and Timeliness of Information are the key drivers. Client and User Requirements drives the Product Roadmap. Team is spread around globally in multiple locations.ResponsibilitiesCreate Business and Function RequirementsData Modelling, MappingData Mining and TransformationSQL ProficiencyWork closely with IT, PM and Operations partnersDevelop InterfacesWeb GUI / APIWork with Data Providers Vendors (Internal & External)Define EPICs and User Stories based on Client RequirementsWork with StakeholdersDocumentation and User TrainingSkillsMust haveWorking experience of 6 years min. as Business AnalystStrong background in financial reference data and capital marketsStrong SQL knowledge required (able to query data, analyze and troubleshooting)Strong Data analysis and data mapping skillsCollege degree, specialized training or equivalent work experienceData Oriented with an excellent attention to detailExperience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, systems development lifecycleMust possess good communication skills with the ability to be assertiveStrong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specificationsExperience utilizing various SDLC methodologies like Waterfall, Agile (JIRA etc.)Comprehensive knowledge of the Testing Lifecycle with SIT, UAT, and ProductionUnderstanding of Data Vendor/Data Source Hierarchy for Golden CopyNice to haveExperience working with major securities indicative data providers (like Bloomberg, Reuters, IDC, Markit)Project lead experienceExperience working closely with IT Project managers and development teamsKnowledge of MS Excel, VisioExperience with vendor product implementation
