Can-Tech Services is looking for two AZ Drivers for one of our reputable Steel Fabrication & Manufacturing clients for their facilities in both Brampton and St Catherines.Our client is a group of structural steel companies that design, fabricate, and build industrial, commercial, institutional & multi-residential projects. Hours of work:Brampton shop: Monday to Thursday- 6:30 am to 4:45 pmSt Catherines/Grantham shop: Monday to Thursday- 5:30 am to 5:15 pm Duties and Responsibilities:Transporting goods safely to and from specified locations.Maintaining an accurate record of all pick-ups and drop-offs, rest periods, mileage covered, fuel consumption, and toll fees.The driver will be responsible for ensuring products are delivered to the destination in a timely manner, including loading and unloading of the product.Appropriately planning driving routes to ensure that goods are delivered to specified locations in a timely manner.Local driving with rare occasions of travel to Welland as needed.Regularly inspecting and maintaining the company truck to ensure that it is roadworthy.Regularly communicating with company dispatchers to inform them of completed deliveries and delays.Promptly notifying the supervisor of any major mechanical issues, traffic violations, and accidents involving the company truck.Requirements:Valid AZ manual drivers license2-3 years of AZ driving experience is mandatory (for insurance purposes)Clean drivers abstractFlatbed Driving experience requiredBoom experience (preferred)Forklift license and experienceManual transmission experienceExperience with overhead cranesThe products they will be moving are typically large in size, so flatbed experience is a must, along with knowledge how to safely strap down materialsTo apply please email your resume to Denushka Punchihewa at CTS 1
