LeverageTek is actively seeking a ServiceNow Developer for a permanent position with its Ottawa based customer.Work LocationThe successful candidate will be required to work hybrid - 1xday a week office until September then 3xday week at HQ in Ottawa Key TasksLeads in the design and development of solutions appropriate to business and systemsrequirements within the target platform.Participates in peer reviews of technical specifications of client requirements andschedules.Develop, write, and test applications, hardware interface, systems interconnectionsoftware, identify, define, and correct maintenance problems.Identifies opportunities and assists in the research and recommendation of forward thinking initiatives to advance functionality / performance and reduce costs.Provides accurate and timely Level of Effort (LOE) analysis estimates for requestedsolutions of varying sizes.Participates in code-walkthroughs and provides feedback to other team members.Creates clear, concise, and standard technical documentation and specifications forsolutions and provides input into relevant documentation prepared by other groups.Assists in troubleshooting and problem solving for new applications/system modificationwithin the team and provides solutions which promote best practices and standardprocedures.Key QualificationsA minimum of three (3) years of experience as a software/application DeveloperA minimum of two (2) years of demonstrable ServiceNow development and configurationexperience.Experience in debugging and code optimization and coding with JavaScriptQualificationsExperience analyzing, recommending, designing, and implementing solutions appropriateto the core technologies used, including an understanding of the Core Functionality,Reporting, Interfaces, Customizations and Extensions and how each will fit into the existing environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or other relevant certifications.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Experience with automated testing and continuous integration.About LeverageTek Staffing SolutionsFounded in 2003, LeverageTek provides end-to-end, cross-functional staffing solutions throughout North America.
