Occupational Therapist 6 hr/week ABI RehabPart-time | Burnaby (Hastings Sunrise) $71.50 - $78 / hour | 6 hours per week | Contractor PositionOVERVIEW: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team providing neuro-rehabilitation to clients recovering from brain injury. This position offers a flexible 6-hour weekly schedule and takes place at a facility-based program supporting 9 residents. The role is ideal for someone passionate about collaborative care, neuro-rehab, and client-centered treatment in a small residential environment.SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:Location: Transitional Care Home, Burnaby (Hastings House)Start Date: As soon as possibleHours: 6 hours per week with flexibilityRate: $71.50 - $78 per hourType: Independent contractorSetting: Neuro-rehab with a multidisciplinary team, working directly with clients with acquired brain injury in a home-like environmentRESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct occupational therapy assessments for clients with acquired brain injuryDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansCollaborate with an interdisciplinary team including case managers, physiotherapy, kinesiology, behavioral consultants, rehabilitation assistants.Reassess client progress and adjust care plans as neededSupport clients in developing skills for increased independence and transitioning to community livingMaintain clinical documentation and communicate progress with team membersQUALIFICATIONS:Licensed and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)Masters degree in Occupational TherapyExperience working in neuro-rehabilitation or with brain injury populations preferredWheelchair seating experience preferred Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a teamReliable transportation to the worksiteTO APPLY: Please send your resume and a brief cover letter to Brian ORourke, Founder and Occupational Therapist, at .
