Warehouse Supervisor We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor who enjoys actively participating in daily warehouse activities, including packing and shipping jewellery products, inventory handling, and coordinating logistics. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient warehouse operations and effective coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) partners. Warehouse Operations: Lead daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping. Directly engage in hands-on packing and handling of jewellery products, ensuring high standards of accuracy and care. Maintain inventory accuracy and appropriate stock rotation, especially for fragile and high-value items. Oversee warehouse organization, cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance. Monitor operational workflow to achieve KPIs, such as fulfillment accuracy, timeliness, and inventory control. Coordinate closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure smooth integration and timely order fulfillment. Ensure effective systems integration between warehouse management software and 3PL platforms. Inventory Control: Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile physical stock with warehouse system records. Proactively address inventory discrepancies, shortages, or excess stock. Generate and maintain accurate reports on inventory, fulfillment accuracy, and shipping metrics. Supervise and provide direct support to warehouse associate(s), promoting efficiency and adherence to safety standards. Foster teamwork, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement within the small warehouse team. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance warehouse efficiency, processes, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth business operations. Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience, including at least 2 years coordinating with 3PL providers. Comfortable performing hands-on warehouse tasks, including packing and shipping. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and fulfillment software. Excellent problem-solving skills, especially regarding logistics and inventory control. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations within warehouse settings. Experience with jewellery-specific packaging and handling requirements. Proficiency in inventory and performance reporting tools. Location: This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position based in our downtown Toronto office.
