Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Right of Way/Land and Utilities Agent to join our very stable and growing Transportation engineering team based in Alberta. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and have demonstrated experience managing a diverse range of projects of varying scope and size for federal, provincial, municipal, developer, and First Nations clients. The ideal candidate is passionate and enjoys working on a wide variety of Infrastructure projects. Work alongside a team of Project Managers, Engineers and Designers on projects, from inception through construction for: Utility coordination and crossing/proximity agreements: ~Manage utility relocations ~ Acquire cost estimates for planning Land Acquisitions (Private and Crown lands): Access removals and relocations Community meetings This position offers the opportunity to work with a team of experienced project managers, engineers and technologists, supported by our geotechnical and environmental specialists, to deliver highway, roadway, and municipal projects, as well lead First Nations and Indigenous consultation. Providing input to proposals, reports, preliminary and detailed designs, cost estimates, specifications, contract documents, tendering, and contract administration. Collaborating on projects with other professionals, including Project Managers, Engineers/Designers, Geotechnical Engineers, Environmental Scientists, and Planners. Planning projects, developing accurate scopes of work, cost estimates, and schedules. Liaising with team members, clients, consultants, sub-consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, and contractors. Assisting project teams involved in planning, design and construction work. Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients. Must be licensed and in good standing with the appropriate registrations holding the title as a SR/WA. Must be a licensed Land Agent for the Province of Alberta. Proven capabilities in writing reports and other technical documents. Experience or aptitude for meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development, and other skills appropriate to consulting.
