Our client is seeking an experienced underwriter to join their Auto Underwriting Team! The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience as auto or persona lines underwriter, and a BC General Insurance Level 2 license is preferred. Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid) Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to: Assist the Auto Team Leader and Underwriting Manager with special projects to help with the performance of the auto team Provide binding approval to auto underwriters within the senior binding authority Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for auto development projects as needed Assist with the daily renewal decline list to underwriting support Understand underwriting business rules and guidelines, communicating these internally and with brokers Participate in company or industry functions to strengthen broker relationships Requirements: 3+ years of experience as an auto or personal lines underwriter Level 2 General Insurance License is strongly preferred Strong knowledge in auto insurance Team player with strong organizational and time management skills DGA Careers has been proudly serving the Canadian insurance industry for over 30 years, specializing in providing insurance recruiting services to major insurers, insurance brokerage firms and independent adjusting firms.
