Proud to be Ames Tile.Who You Are: You are a seasoned and strategic sales leader with a proven ability to drive growth, lead high-performing teams, and deliver results in a competitive market. What Youll Do: Health & SafetyChampion a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.Partner with the Director of Operations to drive the adoption and continuous improvement of safety initiatives across the market.Shape and execute the markets strategic direction, contributing to the organizations overall growth and profitability.Sales LeadershipEstablish and communicate the Ames Value proposition.Assist with building the Ames Brand and market share position and create demand for our products and services.Develop and execute sales strategies that drive new customer acquisition (NCA) and expand market share across all conditions.Leverage market insights and customer feedback to create innovative, profitable sales strategies tailored to each product sector.Analyze customer needs, pain points, and market trends to inform strategic decisions and enhance customer experience.Own the entire sales funnelfrom lead generation to deal closureensuring seamless alignment with support functions.Deliver accurate sales forecasts and budgets, providing critical input to the executive team and board regarding strategic direction.Collaborate with marketing to strengthen brand visibility and promote products effectively.Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and execute business expansion opportunities.Accounts & Strategic Partnerships:Represent Ames Tile & Stone at key industry events, serving as a brand ambassador and thought leader.Promote and implement best practices consistently across the market, in collaboration with the National A&D Director and Director of Operations.Ensure exceptional customer experience, fostering long-term client relationships and brand loyalty.Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA is an asset.8+ years of sales leadership experience with a strong track record of driving growth and leading high-performing teams.Strong business acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and market analysis.Experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing.Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term partnerships.Industry experience in building materials, design, or construction is an asset.Annual Profit-Sharing Program, Referral Bonuses, Company Pension Plan.Comprehensive Benefits, plus a Health Spending Account.Make a Difference Initiatives through the Ames Family Foundation.Hobby & Wellness Allowance, Community Service (Volunteer) Days.lots of food), On-Site Starbucks Coffee Machine.Ames Tile & Stone Discount (Friends & Family).On-Site Parking.Job Type: Full-time, PermanentWork Location: Burnaby, BC Work Type: Onsite (in person, because we enjoy spending time with each other and believe curiosity and creativity is more contagious in person).
