Our firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Lawyer to join our dynamic team and provide exceptional legal representation to our corporate clientele. If you have a strong background in commercial litigation and a track record of delivering results, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:Represent business clients in a range of litigation matters, including commercial disputes, contract disputes, employment litigation, lease disputes, and regulatory matters.Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation risk management, dispute resolution strategies, and potential outcomes.Conduct legal research, case analysis, and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.Collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to develop effective litigation strategies tailored to meet the unique needs and objectives of each client.Handle all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.Manage and mentor junior associates and legal staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback as needed.Qualifications:LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing litigation law, with a focus on representing business clients.Demonstrated expertise in handling complex commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Experience managing and mentoring junior lawyers and legal staff.Business acumen and a client-focused approach to legal practice.Fluency in English (additional fluency in French is an asset).What We Offer:Mentoring from senior litigation counsel (practice group leader).Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive and collegial work environment.Work-life balance and flexible working arrangements.How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, cover letter, and any other relevant supporting documents to .
