We focus on serious immigration and family law matters, sponsorship appeals, deportation defences, judicial reviews, parenting trials, and more. This is not a passive articling experience. Youll be expected to contribute meaningfully, handle real files, and meet real deadlines.About Lawgical Law CorporationLawgical Law Corporation is a boutique litigation firm based in Surrey, British Columbia. Our lawyers appear regularly before the Immigration and Refugee Board, Federal Court, and Provincial Courts. We take articling seriously and train students to become strong, independent, courtroom-ready lawyers.Minimum Requirement NO EXCEPTIONSYou must have completed your National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) process and be eligible to article in British Columbia. If you have not completed your NCAs, do not apply. Your application will not be reviewed.What Were Looking ForCompletion of NCA process and eligibility to commence articles in BCDemonstrated interest in immigration and/or family law litigationStrong legal research and writing skillsCapacity to manage urgent deadlines and high-volume caseloadsProfessionalism and compassion when dealing with clients in crisisAbility to work independently and take initiativeWhat You'll DoDraft submissions for H&C applications, PRRAs, refugee appeals, and Federal Court mattersAssist with affidavits, document preparation, and court filings in family law casesConduct legal research and draft legal memoranda and argumentsAttend hearings, settlement conferences, and CBSA interviews with counselAssist in maintaining deadlines, client communication, and file managementYou will be given full conduct of family, and specific immigration filesTraining and SupervisionYou will work directly with senior counsel and receive regular feedback on your legal work. We dont hand off grunt work, we assign students real legal tasks that matter.
