ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Maintaining regular and direct communication with clients with respect to their portfolios, investment strategies, capital markets and performance, including periodic client meetings; Providing portfolio management advice related to portfolio construction, overall asset mix and asset allocation; Connecting with, and developing relationships with, private and public foundations, small pensions and related families; Working with Boards of Directors, Trustee Boards or Investment Committees overseeing portfolios; Keeping current on best practices for Boards, Investment Committees primarily in a non-taxable environment; Ensuring clients are kept informed of major developments in the industry and advised on developments that may impact their investment arrangements. Assisting in key client events, branding and strategic initiatives across the business; Leading business initiatives and/or supporting the team in these efforts as well as those for related entities; Providing appropriate guidance, mentoring and training for more junior members of the firm; Collaborate with other key internal stakeholders to further the overall performance and culture of the firm. QUALIFICATIONS : Post-secondary degree Chartered Financial Analyst A minimum of 5 years in the wealth/pension/advisory industry ideally as a lead advisor with UHNW/Endowments/pensions Excellent understanding of financial markets and the ability to communicate the same with clients of varying levels of financial sophistication Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills coupled with an ability to communicate across all levels and functions Affinity for cultivating client and business development relationships Strong time management and interpersonal skills project management skills; proven ability to manage simultaneous projects and to meet multiple deadlines Understand the team culture, and work to maintain and build the service orientation COMPENSATION : Commensurate with experience
