Position Overview As an Account Manager, Client Services, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day client relationships and supporting the execution of high-quality scientific communications projects. You will work closely with internal cross-functional teams and clients to ensure project objectives are met on time, within scope, and with scientific integrity. This role reports to the Director or Senior Director of Client Services. Key Responsibilities1) Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, objectives, and challenges. Monitor client satisfaction and identify potential opportunities for account growth or expanded service offerings. 2) Project Oversight Coordinate the planning and execution of client projects, including timelines, deliverables, and budgets. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs aligned with client expectations and industry standards. Support the preparation and review of project proposals, status updates, and presentations. 3) Strategic Support Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that support client goals. Contribute to strategic planning sessions by sharing insights on client needs and market trends. Stay informed about industry developments to support effective project execution. 4) Cross-Functional Collaboration Liaise with internal medical, creative, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of project deliverables. Participate in internal project meetings to communicate client updates and maintain alignment. 5) Quality and Compliance Ensure deliverables meet client requirements and internal quality standards. Review content to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance with regulatory and industry guidelines. Qualifications Bachelors degree in life sciences, communications, marketing, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in account management or client services within a medical communications, pharmaceutical, or biotech setting. Strong understanding of medical/scientific concepts and healthcare industry dynamics. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Familiarity with industry guidelines (e.g., Canadian, US, ex-US). Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office and project management platforms.
