EB Games Canada has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Real Estate Manager in our Store Support Centre in Brampton, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of related experience leasing strip shopping center and/or mall locations and working with rapid expansion plans. This is a great role for a highly organized, self-motivated individual looking for an opportunity to really impact the business by strategically managing our Canadian real estate assets. In this role, you will work directly with the President of Canadian Operations while having one direct report. You will appraise markets and locations for renewals and relocations. Your ability to collaborate with various teams, such as Store Operations, Finance, Loyalty, and Human Resources, will allow you to negotiate the best lease terms, understand customer patterns, and contribute to a positive customer and employee experience. You will work closely with Finance to partner on lease administration and payment of rental agreements. From time-to-time travel to meet with landlords on-site or conduct other business activities will be required. You will also work with your team to manage legal reviews and construction to execute lease renewals, relocations, and store closures. As a confident negotiator, you'll be able to build and maintain effective relationships with landlords and major real estate brokerage firms. Excellent time management amid changing priorities is a must as well as strong verbal/written communication and relationship building skills. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills combined with a continuous improvement mindset are essential as well.Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in Business/Management or related area. Masters Degree preferred.
