Job Title: Key Account Manager Retail (CPG/Food Industry)Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)Job Type: Full-TimeExperience Level: 25 YearsAbout the Role:We seek a driven Key Account Manager with a CPG or food manufacturing background to manage and grow retail accounts. Based in Mississauga, this hybrid role is ideal for someone with 2 to 5 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about building long-term relationships.The Key Account Manager will manage customer relationships, develop business plans, and execute strategies that support sales growth and brand objectives.Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of key retail accounts to drive sales growth and improve market presence Develop and execute customer-specific business plans and promotional strategies Maintain strong relationships with retail buyers and category managers Conduct regular account reviews, analyze sales performance, and identify growth opportunities Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, demand planning, finance) to ensure alignment and execution Negotiate pricing, trade spend, and promotional activity with retail customers Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and category performance Maintain accurate records of account activity using CRM and reporting toolsQualifications: 25 years of experience in key account management, sales, or category development within the CPG or food manufacturing industry Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field (asset) Experience working directly with major Canadian retail accounts (e.g., Loblaw, Metro, Sobeys, Walmart, etc.) Strong analytical skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM tools is an asset Self-starter who can work independently in a hybrid environmentWhat They Offer: Competitive base salary with performance incentives Hybrid work environment with flexibility Career growth opportunities within a supportive and dynamic team Comprehensive benefits package and professional development support
