Senior Cloud Architect Location: Mississauga, ON Type: HybridYou will be responsible for architecting systems across a broad range of IT and network environments, with a focus on our target environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations within both production and non-production environments.Responsibilities:Participate in strategic and operational planning related to the development of software and cloud applications, with a focus on E2E reliability and modernizing transformation initiatives.Lead and mentor other architects and system engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise.Use independent judgment frequently in making key architectural decisions.Provide leadership and mentoring to team members and stakeholders, ensuring a strong understanding of current application architecture, dependencies, and critical flows.Architect systems across a broad range of IT or network environments, including the target environment.Design and develop IT or network architecture (integrated processes, applications, data, and technology) solutions to business problems, aligning with enterprise architecture direction and standards.Take ownership of technical planning, identify technical debt and gaps, and oversee architecture development and modification of specifications.Develop specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings.Assess the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.Provide troubleshooting assistance for various applications in the target application environment, demonstrating a deep understanding of target architecture and organizational dependencies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of architectural solutions with business objectives.Qualifications:15+ years of experience in software/cloud architecture.AWS Certified Solutions Architect.AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (RHCSA).Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (PMI).HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate (003).IBM Certified Architect Profession Foundation.Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, MCA, or a related field.
