Technical Service RepresentativeHalifax, NSSummit Search Group is proud to partner with Biolantic as we search for a new Technical Service Representative to join their team. The Technical Service Representative will serve as the technical liaison between the customer and the necessary manufacturers or suppliers. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing device errors, repairing said equipment issues, and completing preventative maintenance in order to reduce the possibility of equipment downtime. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.Key Responsibilities:Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatchesTie workflow to scheduleManage all assigned installation, repair, maintenance and test tasksDiagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutionsProduce timely and detailed service reportsFollow all companys filed procedures and protocolsComprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefingsBuild positive relationships with customersTravel to various locations in Atlantic CanadaPart or equipment sourcing from approved vendorsDirect contact with customers for scheduling, service and sales requestsAssist in special projects assigned by upper managementInventory managementOther duties as assigned by upper managementQualifications:Completion of a Biomedical Electronic Engineering Technology, Engineering Technologist, or a similar program.Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules including weekends and eveningsAbility to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipmentFamiliarity with tools and their applicationsExcellent listening and verbal communication skills to understand customer complaints and clearly relay solutions to technical problemsAbility to travel within Atlantic Canada, with overnight stays.Application Instructions:For additional details, please contact Cynthia McCutcheon at Summit Search Group directly: or call 902 405 3607Please note that only those candidates who fulfill the requirements will receive a response.Summit Search Group is a fair and equitable search firm.
