In 2018, Genuine Tea appeared on Dragon''s Den and partnered with Arlene Dickinson and District Ventures Capital. This decision propelled Genuine Tea to a national brand sold in cafes, restaurants and grocery stores across Canada. Genuine Tea also has a rapidly growing e-commerce business and a loyal customer base of fellow tea lovers across Canada. In 2024, Genuine Tea was acquired by GoodFood Market (TSX: FOOD) - a tech-driven e-commerce leader transforming grocery shopping with AI-powered convenience and nationwide delivery. Sarah and Dave still own 20% of Genuine Tea and are actively managing daily activities. Reporting to the cofounders, the Social Media Content & Community Manager is the engine that powers everything we do online and IRL. Youll own our social channels endtoend, steward an engaged ambassador program, shape marketing campaign strategy, and turn live momentstrade shows, demos, caf activationsinto scrollstopping stories that drive sales. If you love juggling content calendars, analytics dashboards, and a camera gimbal in equal measure, youll fit right in! Social Media & Content: Plan, film, edit (CapCut & Adobe Creative Suite), schedule (Metricool), and publish daily content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Optimize posts and ad creatives for conversion, partnering with paidmedia specialists to iterate on highperforming formats. Contribute fresh ideas to overarching marketing campaign strategy , collaborating with the founders and paidmedia team on concepts that span organic, paid, and experiential touch points. Track KPIs weekly, build digestible performance reports, and turn insights into actionable next steps. ensure all creator content is onbrand and FTCcompliant. Community, Events & Email: Lead daytoday social listening: answer DMs, jump into comment threads, and flag realtime trends. Coordinate and attend demos, popups, and trade shows (some weekend travel); capture content on site and turn activations into buzzworthy reels. Partner with cafs, wellness studios, and retailers on collab events that amplify our brand pillars. Write engaging email copy for our monthly newsletters (Klaviyo)from catchy subject lines to clear CTAsusing performance data to refine future sends. 3+ years handson social media experience, ideally with a CPG, beverage, or wellness brand. ~ Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldor a track record that proves you dont need one. ~ Fluency in Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and the algorithmic quirks that make each tick. ~ you can design creatives that move effortlessly from feed to ad. ~ Proficiency with Metricool, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, and Shopify (incl. Proven ability to pivot seamlessly from virtual strategy sessions to onsite promotional activities within the same day, maintaining a high level of professionalism in each setting.
