Job Description

The AI/ML Specialist is responsible for analyzing large sets of structured and unstructured data to identify trends and patterns, create predictive models, and provide actionable recommendations to improve business processes and decisions. This role involves using statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques to interpret complex data patterns.The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R, experience with data manipulation tools like SQL, and a solid understanding of statistical analysis. Additionally, excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this position.Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with machine learning/data engineers, IT, and business teams to develop opportunities to leverage company data and drive business solutionsIdentify and validate high-value AI/ML opportunities, rapidly prototype solutions, and ensure implementations deliver measurable business outcomes and tangible ROIBuild functional demonstrations using no-code to low-code AI/ML tools including AI/BI Genie and Copilot StudioCreate Azure OpenAI services and utilize Azure AI Foundry to build, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning modelsIntegrate Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities and AI chatbots to enhance user interaction and automate communicationProcess, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysisAnalyze large amounts of information to find patterns and solutionsDevelop predictive systems and machine learning algorithms using Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and other Microsoft toolsParticipate in cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to gather and understand business-related needsApply AI/BI tools to support business intelligence and data-driven decision makingMaintain process-related documentation and support system bug troubleshootingStay updated with the latest technologies, OpenAI advancements, and industry best practicesFollow Information Technology policies and industry standardsPerform other duties as assignedSkills and Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of in-depth work experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysisTwo years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and related database servicesExperience developing and deploying AI solutions using OpenAI, Copilot, and Azure AI FoundryExperience with AI models using structured and unstructured data sourcesStrong skills in mathematics and statistical analysis concepts like linear regression, probability distributions, and other techniques for creating high-quality machine learning modelsHighly skilled in relational and dimensional data modelingCompletion of a Masters degree in a data science or related fieldNice to Have:Experience with Databricks and NLP tools such as GenieHands-on experience with AI chatbots, Power Platform, and Copilot StudioKnowledge of data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure DatabricksExperience with Power BI for data visualizationFamiliarity with DevOps & Agile methodologies
