The successful candidate will bring exceptional expertise in economic analysis, forecasting, financial modeling, and pricing strategies, offering actionable insights that support both client success and the firms strategic objectives, owning the following responsibilities:Develop and deliver macroeconomic research and forecasts, and recommendations tailored to client needs and business contexts.Design and implement advanced financial modeling techniques and pricing models to analyze client markets, optimize revenue strategies, and enhance profitability.Collaborate with the team to integrate economic insights into client engagements, providing data-driven recommendations to enhance business strategies.Analyze and interpret the impact of regulatory and policy changes on industries and markets, advising clients on adaptive strategies.Monitor and evaluate macroeconomic, industry-specific, and global market trends, delivering actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.Work closely with leadership and clients to align economic strategies with overarching business goals.Your experience and education:Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field (PhD preferred).10+ years of experience in economic analysis, forecasting, and strategic advisory roles, with expertise in financial modeling and pricing strategy development.Strong background in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and applied econometrics.Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex economic concepts clearly to diverse audiences.Expertise in statistical tools, economic modeling software, and machine learning techniques.Demonstrated experience in public speaking, publishing, and representing organizations in thought leadership roles.Why BDO?Our people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among Canadas Top 100 Employers for 2025.
