Job Title: Automotive Glass Technician Job Type: Full-Time Location: Outside Ottawa Salary: 25-30hr depending on experience & capabilities Overview: We are a long-established and well-respected automotive glass shop thats been in business for over 30 years and have a reputation for providing exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking an Automotive Glass Technician who values a great work-life balance, a tight-knit community, and the opportunity to grow with the company. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing automotive glass on vehicles, as well as calibrating advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) following glass replacement. Responsibilities: Install, repair, and replace automotive glass on vehicles, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows Follow established safety procedures and guidelines when working with automotive glass Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to determine the type and extent of glass damage Remove and properly dispose of old or damaged glass Clean and prepare surfaces for new glass installations Utilize proper tools and equipment to perform installations, repairs, and replacements Calibrate advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) following glass replacement Maintain a clean and organized work area Provide friendly and attentive customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction with all work performed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent At least 5 years of experience as an Automotive Glass Technician with a a clean driving record. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently Knowledge of proper safety procedures when working with automotive glass Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods of time Advanced technical skills and experience in recalibrating advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) A friendly and customer-focused approach to service Our small town location along the Rideau Canal offers amazing opportunities for boating, fishing, snowmobiling, and other outdoor recreation, as well as a strong community spirit and a tradition of volunteerism.
