Our team is built for marketers who want to go deep, make an impact, and continuously raise the bar.The RoleWere hiring a Strategist to lead retention efforts for a portfolio of e-commerce brands. Youll own the strategy and performance of your clients lifecycle marketing programs, working cross-functionally with internal and client-side teams to execute world-class retention programs.This role requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You should be comfortable managing multiple accounts, confident in your decision-making, and focused on delivering real business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Ownership: Develop and execute email and SMS campaigns and flows that drive incremental revenue.Client Management: Serve as the strategic point of contact, building trust and ensuring alignment on goals and execution.Retention Strategy: Build and maintain retention roadmaps, incorporating lifecycle flows, campaign planning, segmentation, and zero/first-party data strategies.KPI Improvement: Own and improve metrics like deliverability, list growth, engagement, and revenue.Creative Direction: Write clear, actionable strategy briefs for copywriters and designers that reflect brand voice and business goals.Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on performance regularly, identifying actionable insights and optimization opportunities.Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional team members to ensure delivery of strategic, high-quality work.Continuous Innovation: Stay current with trends and innovations in e-commerce and retention marketing, applying new ideas to improve results.Youre a Fit If You...Have at least 3 years of experience in digital marketing for e-commerce, including email marketing using Klaviyo (required).Have at least 1 year of experience working for an e-commerce brand.Preferably have experience with SMS platforms like Postscript, Attentive, or similar.Deeply understand the broader e-commerce stack (Shopify ecosystem, Meta Ads, third party analytics platforms, etc.).Have strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills.Can independently manage your work and deliver results.Are passionate about building great customer journeys and driving measurable growth.How We WorkWere a high-performance team looking for people who share our values:Excellence: Take extreme pride in your work.Ownership: Follow through.
