Position: Educational Assistant (EA)/Behaviour Support Specialist Location & Duration Location: Kanata Term: Immediate start until June 20th, 2025 (possibility of extension) Type: Full-time, Contract Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant/Behaviour Support Specialist to provide one-on-one support for a student requiring additional assistance. This role focuses on creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment while implementing effective behavioral strategies to ensure the student''s academic and social success. Key Responsibilities Provide direct, one-on-one support to assigned student Implement behavior intervention strategies and support plans Monitor and document student progress and behavioral patterns Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals Assist with academic tasks and learning activities Support the development of social skills and positive behaviors Help create and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment Participate in team meetings regarding student progress Adapt learning materials to meet student''s needs Maintain confidentiality regarding student information
