We are is looking for an experienced software QA Tester to work directly with a global client''s QA team based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Activities will focus on end-to-end functional and payment instruments testing. Basic terms: Title: QA Tester Experience: Mid-level Type: Independent Contractor Start Date: ASAP Pay rate range: $35 to $40 USD per hour Duration: June 9, 2025 through June 8, 2026; potential 12 month renewal Capacity: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 1 PM local time Location: Toronto-based remote Language: Bilingual French Canadian / English Responsibilities: Participate in test planning and test strategy discussions to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Assist in the creation and maintenance of test cases, test data, and test environments. Execute test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software products and applications Identify and document defects, issues, and risks during the testing process. Collaborate with the QA team to prioritize and troubleshoot identified issues, ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate testing. Qualifications Native fluency in French Canadian with English professional fluency Bachelor''s in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field 3 to 5 years of QA testing experience on web and mobile apps Highly effective communication
