This is a unique opportunity to join a growing business and collaborative senior team. Forward has recently significantly increased its ability to write commercial property across Canada in both a lead or follow capacity. Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the strategic vision for Forwards commercial property offering.- Create, refine and maintain underwriting guidelines, and pricing framework. - Assist in promoting the offering to brokers distribution. - Supervise a team of 2-3 (and growing) commercial property underwriters - and build your team as we grow in this segment.- Day to day underwriting of small to mid sized accounts across Canada.Qualifications- Minimum 10 years of commercial property underwriting experience.- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of market conditions.- Experience working within an MGA or carrier environment is an asset.- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.- CIP, FCIP, or other relevant designations preferred.
