Project Manager Power Systems (Full-Time, North Vancouver)Location: North Vancouver, BC | HybridEdgeTunePower Inc. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager with a background in power systems engineering to lead and coordinate projects involving real-time simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, and advanced energy management. This role focuses on the integration, validation, and control of inverter-based resources (IBRs) across utility-scale power plants, mission-critical data centers, and autonomous microgrids. If you're passionate about enabling the next generation of clean and intelligent energy systems and excel at bridging technical development with project executionthis opportunity is for you.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end delivery of projects involving Power Management Systems (PMS), Power Plant Controllers (PPC), and Energy Management Systems (EMS)Coordinate cross-functional teams of engineers and technical staff to ensure project milestones, budgets, and deliverables are metInterface directly with utility clients, OEMs, and technology partners to define scope, timelines, and validation protocolsOversee Control-Hardware-in-the-Loop (C-HIL) simulation activities and provide technical oversight during real-time system testingPrepare project documentation, progress reports, and compliance packages for internal and external stakeholdersIdentify risks and develop mitigation strategies for critical-path components in complex energy projectsQualifications:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline (Masters degree is a plus)37 years of relevant experience managing engineering or energy-related projectsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple timelines and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiencesPMP certification or equivalent project management training is an assetWhy Join Us?At EdgeTunePower, were redefining how power systems are built, tested, and managed.
