Can-Tech services is looking for a Human Resources Assistant for one of our reputable Manufacturing clients in Woodbridge.Job Title: HR AssistantJob Type: Part-Time (with potential for Full-Time, Permanent)Schedule: 32 hours/week (4 days), with flexibility to work 5 days as requiredCompensation: $20/hour(with potential for Full-Time, Permanent)Job Summary:Currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our clients Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their HR career and gain experience in a supportive environment. Initially offered as a part-time position (32 hours/week over 4 days), the role requires flexibility to work a 5-day schedule when needed. There is also potential for the role to become permanent based on performance and organizationalneeds.Key Responsibilities:Recruitment Support:Post job openings and assist in sourcing candidatesScreen resumes and coordinate interviewsHelp facilitate the onboarding process for new hiresCoordination with Temp Agencies:Communicate staffing needs and follow up with temporary staffing partnersTrack and manage temporary employee records and placementsTeam Collaboration:Work closely with Team Supervisors to identify staffing requirementsAssist with interview scheduling and employee queriesEmployee Support & Onboarding:Conduct employee orientations and prepare onboarding packagesMaintain accurate and organized employee recordsHR Administration:Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR supportManage documentation, filing, and data entry tasksQualifications:Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field1-2 years of HR or administrative experience preferredExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a mustExperience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems is an assetExperience of working in a manufacturing plant is an asset but not requiredTo apply please email your resume to Avneet Marwah at
