Youll play a key role in supporting both local and national procurement initiatives, contributing to cost efficiency, vendor management, and operational excellence across our sites. The role includes regular collaboration with operational teams and suppliers, with occasional travel (1015%) across Canada.Key Responsibilities:Source and procure equipment, materials, and services to support waste collection, hauling, and site operationsManage national procurement agreements and contribute to cost-saving strategies across all regionsIdentify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationshipsSupport capital projects by procuring large-scale or specialized equipmentAnalyze market trends and supplier performance to ensure best valueWork cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and finance teams to align procurement with operational needsEnsure timely delivery of goods and resolve supply or quality issues as they ariseMaintain accurate procurement records, POs, and compliance documentationTravel to sites and vendor locations across Canada (approx. 1015%)Qualifications:3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, ideally in industrial, fleet, or equipment-heavy environmentsExperience with national vendor agreements and capital equipment procurement is a strong assetSolid negotiation skills and the ability to build strong supplier relationshipsFamiliarity with ERP or procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)Strong organizational and analytical skillsDiploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related fieldValid drivers license and willingness to travel within CanadaWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageCareer growth opportunities in a growing national companyA values-driven, safety-focused workplace cultureThe opportunity to contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable futureHow To ApplyThis is more than a jobits your opportunity to be part of something bigger.
