This role is ideal for someone who combines culinary expertise with strong leadership and operational skills. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen activities, ensuring high standards of food quality, staff performance, and overall kitchen efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Kitchen OperationsSupervise all kitchen activities and staff during prep and service hoursEnsure consistent food preparation, presentation, and qualityMonitor food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all timesTeam LeadershipHire, train, and supervise kitchen staffCreate work schedules and manage labor costsProvide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to the teamInventory & Cost ControlOrder, receive, and manage inventory to reduce waste and control food costsEnsure proper storage and rotation of suppliesMonitor and report on food usage, stock levels, and wastageMenu Execution & StandardsWork with ownership/management on menu planning and updatesEnsure recipe adherence and timely preparation of menu itemsManage daily prep lists and ensure readiness for serviceHealth & Safety ComplianceEnforce compliance with health and safety regulationsConduct regular kitchen inspections and maintain required documentationWork Schedule:Full-time position with morning, day, and evening availabilityMust be available on weekends and holidays as neededQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training an assetMinimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a commercial kitchenStrong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesExcellent leadership and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple prioritiesEnglish proficiency with CLB 6 or higherCompensation and Benefits:Hourly wage: $20.00Paid time offOn-site parking (if applicable)Supportive team environmentImmigration Support:Our client is open to supporting qualified candidates through:LMIA applicationsCanadian Experience Class, Express Entry, or Provincial Nominee ProgramsHow to Apply:Please send your resume to .
