We are seeking a live-in Building Caretaker to support two rental properties (179 units) in Calgary.Youll oversee daily operations and general management of both buildings, working closely with the Residential Property Manager. This role includes maintenance, tenant relations, and ensuring the properties are clean, safe, and welcoming.Key ResponsibilitiesFoster positive relationships with residents and team membersPerform or coordinate minor repairs and maintenanceMaintain cleanliness of interior and exterior common areasRemove garbage, sweep walkways, and manage snow/ice removalClean suites during tenant turnoversRespond to emergencies during and occasionally outside work hoursCoordinate with trades and supervise contractors as neededAssist with suite showings, move-ins, and move-out inspectionsServe notices in compliance with the Residential Tenancy ActBe reachable by phone when off-siteProcess maintenance requests using Yardi Maintenance SystemsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications2+ years of experience in a similar caretaker or building management roleKnowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeFamiliarity with the Residential Tenancy ActStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProven handyman skills are an assetCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $50,000$55,000/yearBenefits include:Rental discount.Dental and extended health careRRSP matchingPaid time offOn-site parkingAccess to Porkopolis (employee perks program)
