My client, a company specializing in the manufacturing and sale of consumer products. They operate in the retail sector through a nationwide network across Canada and offer a wide range of products under several exclusive brands. Position Summary The selected candidate will play a strategic role by supporting their clients key functions. They will act as a key partner to business teams, providing data, budgets, and analyses needed to support informed decision-making. Your Mission Financial Planning & Analysis Lead annual budgets, long-term plans, and rolling forecasts Develop financial models for scenario planning and business analysis Provide performance analyses and strategic recommendations Prepare executive reports with key performance indicators (KPIs) Support business units in their strategic and operational decision-making Team Leadership Manage and mentor a team of analysts with clear objectives Ensure the quality of deliverables and promote continuous improvement Plan resource allocation and conduct performance evaluations Partnership & Continuous Improvement Advise functional leaders in their financial decision-making Optimize forecasting, planning, and reporting processes Promote the adoption of automated tools and solutions to improve efficiency Profile Sought Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (CPA designation is an asset) Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar role Team management experience is an asset Strong skills in financial modeling and analysis Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for non-financial stakeholders Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strategic mindset, strong attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset High level of discretion and confidentiality Willingness to travel to Montreal on a quarterly basis, depending on business needs Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (strong asset), SAP S/4HANA, BW, Tableau, Power BI (asset), and Microsoft 365, with advanced Excel proficiency French is considered an asset, as the successful candidate will be working with several French-speaking colleagues.
