We are seeking a seasoned Professional Engineer to join our growing team in Quebec , focusing on high-impact projects in the Mining & Metals sector. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering , or Electrical/Instrumentation , and a passion for delivering engineering excellence in complex industrial environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute detailed engineering design projects in the mining & metals industry Review and approve technical documentation, specifications, and drawings Provide technical oversight to ensure project compliance with industry standards and regulations Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, design, and field operations Conduct risk assessments, root cause analyses, and recommend system improvements Interact with clients, suppliers, and regulators in both French and English when needed Support project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation as a technical leader Required Qualifications: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Quebec 1015 years of relevant engineering experience Background in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering, or Civil/Structural Engineering Prior experience in Mining , Metals , or Oil & Gas sectors Strong knowledge of applicable industry codes and safety regulations Excellent communication and technical writing skills Fluency in French is highly recommended ; bilingual in French and English preferred
