Key Responsibilities Carrying out surveying activities related to construction projects, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and as-built surveys. Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment, ensuring proper functioning and accuracy for field operations. Coordinate the collection and analysis of survey data, ensuring accuracy and reliability in measurements and calculations. Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of survey data and reports. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide survey support and accurate data for project planning and execution. Ensure surveying activities comply with industry standards, legal requirements, and safety regulations. Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, maps, and reports documenting survey findings and land-related information. Key Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors degree or diploma in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field, professional licensure or certification in advantageous. 3 years of experience in land surveying, with proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the construction industry. Proficiency in surveying instruments, software and geographic information systems (GIS). Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, land laws, and regulations. Familiarity with Machine Control is considered an asset Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate survey teams. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Effective decision-making critical thinking skills.
