Our team is known for its hands-on, hard-working culture and commitment to safety, compliance, and community values. As business grows, they are seeking an HR presence to manage all aspects of HR. This will include recruitment strategies for seasonal workforce and someone with a strong commitment to Health & Safety. Manage full-cycle HR functions, including onboarding, policy enforcement, and compliance Lead seasonal recruitment efforts (MarchMay), with a specific focus on labourer roles Oversee employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution Administer H&S policies and programs; Collaborate with third-party legal for union matters as they arise Support and enhance onboarding software and dispatch systems Maintain accurate HR records and compliance documentation 3+ years experience as an HR Generalist or prior experience within a Standalone HR focused role ~ Experience managing HR and Health & Safety programs ~ Valid G-class drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle as there is no public transit near the faculty ~ Background in construction, manufacturing, or industrial services (added bonus) ~ Experience with seasonal workforce planning Company-wide holiday shutdown (days between Christmas & New Years!)
