Position: UAV Assembler Fixed-Wing RC Aircraft (Part-Time, Flexible Hours) Location: Niagara Region (Ideally Near Welland) Start Date: Immediate Are you passionate about drones, hands-on fabrication, and precision craftsmanship? We''re looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our growing UAV manufacturing team. Who We Are We are a small but established Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) company with over 12 years of experience designing and manufacturing fixed-wing drones. Our systems are deployed in over 60 countries for civil applications including mapping, environmental monitoring, agriculture, and surveying. As demand for our products grows, were seeking dedicated individuals to help bring our cutting-edge aircraft to life. Key Responsibilities Assemble fixed-wing RC aircraft and UAVs with precision and attention to detail. Prepare the fuselage, wings and other aircraft parts to be ready for electronics installation. These tasks involve cutting, gluing, sanding, drilling, simple tooling and custom fabrication. Install some components such as servos, GPS, Motors, ESC, and hardware, and assist with basic electronic integration (training provided). Follow instructions and adapt to a fast-paced, quality-focused workflow. Maintain high standards of workmanship while meeting production deadlines. Note: Initial assembly will not include electronics, but the role will evolve to include basic electronics installation over time. Essential Skills and Requirements Mandatory: Prior experience assembling fixed-wing RC aircraft or UAVs. Comfortable using hand and power tools; strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to follow technical instructions, troubleshoot, and work independently. Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality results. Reliable, punctual, and driven with a strong work ethic. Access to your own dedicated workspace (garage, basement, small workshop, etc.). Must be based in the Niagara Region and able to attend in-person weekly meetings near Welland. Desirable Additional Skills (Not Required, but a Plus!) Experience building or modifying multirotor drones. Basic skills in CAD or 3D design for printing custom parts. General computer proficiency. Experience with Arduplane, Pixhawk, or flight controllers. Work Hours & Flexibility Set your own schedule work at your convenience. Part-time to start, with potential for full-time employment as the business expands. All tools and materials provided. Start as soon as possible.
