Reporting into the Vice President, Private Wealth, as Associate Vice President, Private Wealth youll lead a team of esteemed Wealth Advisors providing support and guidance, ensuring achievement of our strategic and business objectives through delivering exceptional client experience. Youll be actively involved in shaping the performance, direction and growth of our Wealth Advisor team. The successful candidate will provide support, guidance, and leadership to a team of trusted Wealth Advisors, ensuring that we achieve our strategic and business objectives while delivering an exceptional experience to our clients. Core Responsibilities:As Associate Vice President, Private Wealth, your key accountabilities will include:Working with the Private Wealth leadership team on strategic planning, budgeting and resource managementPartnering with individual Wealth Advisors to establish annual business and development plans and provide regular support to ensure successful performance against these plansReviewing and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure all Wealth Advisors are meeting client service standards and providing a bespoke client experienceWorking cross functionally and collaboratively with Private Wealth leadership, Operations teams, and other departments on corporate projects involving Private WealthManaging advisor capacity and client file allocation including the allocation of new clients to Wealth Advisors and the administration of the Wealth Advisor compensation structureResponsible for Wealth Advisor talent development and career progression by engaging in and championing people development activities and programsSupporting new Wealth Advisor recruitment, onboarding and team integrationIn close partnership with the leaders of our Wealth Planning Associates team, build a talent pipeline of internal associates to support career progression from Associate to Wealth AdvisorBe a go-to-person for our Wealth Advisors providing general leadership direction, support, strong communication, and guidance on escalations and questions, thereby fostering a supportive and caring cultureRequired Skills & Qualifications:Excellent leadership skills with a strong desire to develop others to grow and reach their potentialInspires a drive for excellence and team successApproachable, caring, engaging and supportiveA trusted advisor both internally and externallyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships both within Advisory Services and across the businessSuperior client service orientation both internally and externallyBalances operational performance with a strategic focus on the futureEntrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build and grow the businessThrives in a dynamic and fast paced, deadline driven environmentCreative and collaborative approach to problem solving and developing innovative solutionsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:4+ years' experience in a client facing advisor/relationship manager role8+ years of related work experience in wealth management with a track record demonstrating your strength leading a team of professionalsBachelors degree in a related disciplineCertified Financial Planner (CFP)Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) is preferred. If not currently held, a willingness to work towards it is required.Experience delivering results in high performing client service-oriented capacity with both internal and external clientsProficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills. Experience with other productivity, reporting resource management tools is an asset. Experience with Microsoft PowerBI is a plus.You are legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer
