The OE team consists of three teams: Data Enablement, Process Evolution, and Project Management, whose combined expertise enables us to create value for the organization. This role will lead the Process Evolution Team. Your primary focus will be to elevate the Business Process Management practice by executing the Directors strategy and vision, oversee continuous improvement and process initiatives, support and develop the process evolution team and lead Process Management and Knowledge management initiatives that align our department and company mission. Your success will be measured through process efficiency achieved. Ideally candidates will be western based and close to one of our offices to enable hybrid working model. This is hybrid working model with 40% in office and 60% remote. Candidates must be within distance of one of our office branches and are expected to be in person 2 days a week to meet with stakeholders and internal clients and conduct site visits and lead activities which benefit from in person contact. We will consider candidates Canada-wide and while in person is important We are looking for someone who is energized by the BPM Practice, has solid communication skills and ability to forge trust/relationships quickly, loves to be boots on the ground and in the action, speaking to a variety of stakeholders to maintain trust and cross-functional collaboration Key Responsibilities: Elevate the BPM Practice (75%): Manage our process architecture to ensure relevancy and perform process maturity assessments ensuring compliance. Monitor and audit core business process performance. Establish KPIs where needed. Collaborate with the Data Analytics Lead to update KPI reports. Gatekeeper of continuous improvement project qualification and selection, ensuring maximum ROI on cost savings and process efficiency. Write project charters and business cases and present to the Director for approval. Lead workshops on requirements gathering, process assessments, problem-solving, and lessons learned. Improve workshop methods to enhance results and user engagement. Improve Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration between various departments to optimize processes and improve operational efficiency Manage the enterprise process repository as a single source of truth for the organization. Ensure all critical business processes are documented according to BPMn standards, review cycles are completed on time, and these knowledge assets are utilized. Maintain and update the process 'toolbox,' ensuring that templates and tools remain relevant and compliant with industry standards. Support the implementation of and lead the process network, a community of process champions focused on improving process performance. Lead our in-house Yellow Belt LSS program by recruiting candidates, overseeing their training, and coaching them throughout the achievement of their improvement projects. Contribute to the Knowledge Management strategy and execution as well as Enterprise BPM standards, conventions, and taxonomy. Manage the Process Evolution service, including operating processes, performance, requests, continuous improvement projects, and promotion of the service line. Team Leadership (25%): Develop the Process Evolution team, ensuring continuous improvement of soft and technical skills. Conduct one on one meetings, coaching and performance management. Oversee daily activities and guide team members, helping them set priorities for high-ROI initiatives. Assist team members in prioritizing tasks and aligning resources across initiatives. Qualifications and Requirements: Required: LSS Green Belt 5+ years of work experience in process improvement 2+ years of work experience in leadership (team lead or manager) roles 2+ years of work experience in project management roles Proficient with O365, including Teams, Planner, SharePoint administration, and Visio Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously Flexible and adaptable. Therefore, our salary range for this role is between $65,000 to $90,000 annually with additional variable compensation available.
