(Relocation assistance will be provided by the company) Our client, a renowned refining and petrochemical company, is looking for an organizational development specialist.Scope:To serve as the Companys expert on matters of organization structure, job design, jobdescription and job evaluation, and provide related professional advice and recommendations to the organization. Develop, maintain, and update organization structure and job architecture, including designing and redesigning jobs; conducting job analyses; developing job descriptions; and evaluating, grading, and leveling jobs using appropriate job evaluation systems. This position will report to the Superintendent of Rewards & HR Policies. Design, develop, and maintain the companys organizational structure, job titles, reporting relationships, and ensure alignment with efficiency goals, identifying areas for improvement in the structure.Conduct organizational assessments to identify issues such as function overlap, duplication of work, and inefficiency, and recommend structural changes to improve overall effectiveness.Develop and track organization effectiveness metrics, collaborating with relevant personnel to validate and report on results at different levels of the company, ensuring continuous improvement.Perform in-depth job analysis and evaluations, including job grading using appropriate evaluation tools and methodologies, ensuring job descriptions remain relevant and consistent across the organization.Lead job evaluation processes by administering job evaluations, creating benchmark jobs, and supporting job evaluation decisions, ensuring alignment with company objectives. This includes coordinating job evaluation reviews, collecting data, validating outcomes, and offering training to relevant stakeholders.Participate in compensation surveys, benchmarking jobs, and developing job profiles. Maintain the job evaluation system and support external consultant collaboration to enhance organizational design and job evaluation projects.Collaborate with external consultants and third parties for job evaluation or organizational design projects, providing guidance and expertise to improve processes. Additionally, coach HR personnel on organization design, job analysis, and job evaluation activities, ensuring consistency and accuracy.RequirementsBachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent Six (6) years of experience in Organization Design and Job Evaluation, of which at least Two (2)years in a similar position. Certification in Organizational Development (strongly preferred)Experience in the petrochemical/refining industry is a strong assetJob-Specific Skills (key functional, leadership, or business skills required) Strong knowledge of the design of Job Evaluation System and Organization Structure. Strong knowledge of Job Analysis and Job Description. Strong analytical and quantitative abilities. Good knowledge of the Refinery professions. Ability to function independently and effectively in a self-directed environment. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. Conversant with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
